This crew worked very hard in extreme hot temps! We are very pleased with the work and would highly recommend for any work you need!

The owner of Pendergraft Construction has very poor business management.

They told us our home would be done in about 3 weeks.

The day of the three week mark, our home still wasn't completed. A Pendergraft associate told us that our room would be done that week and that our sheetrock would be done the next day.

---The subcontractor kept going to his other jobs he had taken, and delayed my family and I from continuing our lives in a normal functioning home. It interfered with my side business as well.
(We have a huge dog, a cat, and two children and had to move components of our bedroom as well as our laundry room into our living room and kitchen which made things difficult)---

The next day rolls around, and the subcontractor did not do their job in completing it. Worked like.. maybe 3 or 4 hours total that day (and also took a 2.5-3.5 hour lunch break). When my husband confronted him about it, the subcontractor got angry and reported false allegations against my husband.

Without getting our side of the story or anything, Pendergraft Construction contacted the police (which, when shown our camera footage, the Sheriff told us to have a better day and left) and contacted their lawyer.. WITHOUT EVEN SPEAKING TO THEIR CLIENT. Smh.

I do not at all recommended Pendergraft Construction. Because of false allegations and claims against my husband by their sub contractor, they denied us service, and now our home is incomplete with no refund of our money or anything.

When we went to speak cordially to them and explain what had happened from our side of things and figure out what we could do about a solution, they told us to get off of their property so we left.

We have given this company thousands of our dollars and was left with an incomplete renovation, all because the business owner doesn't know how to properly conduct his business before jumping.

Go with someone else.
What a joke.

Pendergraft Construction was hired for a few home projects. From the first call, they were responsive and professional. During the projects, Beau and his team of tradesmen understood the project requirements, asked questions as necessary, and were diligent in ensuring the work was completed correctly. The site supervisor is a seasoned professional and was on-site everyday. The team showed up as scheduled and worked hard to finish the projects on time. Pendergraft Construction had the professionals and skillset to complete all the projects. Beau and his team were polite, courteous, and above all professional. We will call on them again for other projects.

Clint the project manager was awesome, I paid $20,300 down on a $40,500 job, had to hassle them to get the Sheetrock guy to stop standing me up and they showed up today with the same Sheetrock guy named Javier, he worked for about 3 hours total today because he took a 4 hour lunch and told me he would be back tomorrow at which point I told him I didn't want him coming back because he said he was bringing a heater and finishing the mud work so they could sand it and lay tile tomorrow. Javier argued with me and I threatened to call deportation services on him and he reported that I threatened him with a weapon.

-10/5 stars do not recommend.

The owner has doubled down, despite their own police report not backing up their claims and they have a history of this behavior since 2019, not a good look for a relatively new small business, their behavior has interfered with my wife's home business. Waiting for their lawyers official letter to arrive before we take next steps.

I had a witness that was standing behind me during the time the accusation was made and I have video evidence of the subcontractor taking his sweet time leaving which is not appropriate behavior for the severity of the accusation that has been made against me.

Beau and his guys did an excellent job. I highly recommend them. Job was done in a timely manner and exactly what we asked for!

Beau & his team worked very hard under the extreme heat. He answered all of my questions & concerns without any hesitation. He does beautiful work! I highly recommend him!

Work, communication, and time was awesome. Picked colors out day 1, delivered day 2, and did ALL work day 3. Incredible, wished all home repairs were this fast and smooth

Great company to hire. They recently did a big project for us . 100% satisfaction. Highly recommended. The finished work was great, all the worker on the job site was respectful and polite. The owner also added a few things to our project to make it look better at no extra cost. He is very passionate about his work.

Beau (owner) and the Pendergraft crews have been a pleasure to work with for our full turn key custom house build. If/when we build another house, *we will be repeat customers*! He helped us navigate the bank, city ordinances, and all the stuff you’re ignorant about until you are elbowed deep in it. He’s treated our money like he would his own, and treated us with respect.

He is respectful, prompt, professional & quality work!! Not to mention beyond fair pricing. They turn run-down anything (decks/houses/interiors etc) into treasures. It's highly impressive-- If you don't believe me, look at their before & after photos for proof!! No need to look any further, I highly recommend them 10/10.

Pendergraft construction is the real deal! Theyre team are truly skilled leaders and craftsmen that showed that they work with theyre heads and theyre heart. The project manager Derek, worked hard to complete our needs and terminate any concerns we had. Derek and Darin both kept us updated on the project and were always available when needed. Derek, Darin and the crew were real proffesionals that were all about the business of improving our homes safety and aesthetics.
My Wife and I are both amazed and excited about the new sunroom, roof, gutters, and all the trim and that they constructed on our home!
I can't explain enough, what a breath of fresh air it was to have a contractor to show up and do what they said they would do.

This is my 3rd time using this company. Each time I continue to be more and more impressed. I purchased an older home that needed a lot of work and Pendergraft was the best work out of anyone I've hired so far. I wish we would have found them sooner. Not only are they on time every single day but somehow find time to get work done as well as answer all my questions. I love how kind, dependable and thorough the whole team is. Beau even came by on his day off to fix some issues we had from other companies we had hired within 10 min of calling him. Can't wait to see my list of work come to life! We get constant compliments from everyone that comes over about how great all the new work is that we had done. The quality is just top notch.

Absolutely awful people to deal with. It's a shame how they can get away with taking thousands of dollars from honest, hard-working people and not completing the job hired to do. They have Hispanics who speak no English, showing up at people's homes to perform the work. It's just shameful on all aspects. I believe ICE and the BBB need to investigate.

I can not say enough great things about this company. We closed in a 2-car carport to create a master bath and bedroom, plus a midroom/laundry room and a huge front porch!

From beginning to end, Beau and the team have been responsive, honest... ON TIME! We had a sketch of what we had in mind, and they made it happen. The first step was the estimate. Beau showed up on time and gave us a realistic and logical cost and time frame estimate. Once they began work, the crew showed up in time every day and we couldn't believe how much they could get accomplished so quickly. Everyone from the framers, sheetrock crew, painter, electrician, and plumber were incredible. Everyone was knowledgeable, helpful, and communicative. We never went more than a few days without an update on the progress and next steps.

Finding a contractor for a big home project can be kind of scary, but trust me, this is the one you want!

We hired Pendergraft carpentry to put a new roof on our house. He was able to work directly with our insurance. Just weeks before we hired Pendergraft, we had hired another local contractor, who incorrectly installed a shingle roof on our new addition. Beau came out personally and found out the previous contractor had not installed the ice and water shield in the proper locations to prevent leak. He went as far as to correct the problem, repair rotten decking so that our roof line is now flat and water tight. We highly recommend beau pendergraft to do a quality job. He has integrity, he will not incorrectly install anything not up to building code. The job was completed exactly as his contract spelled it out, and he has exceeded our expectations. He came out on a Sunday to look over his work and make sure everything was tight and right thank you for saving our roof. And you have our future business.

They are very professional and the painter was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy!!!

I had a new roof put on my home in Guntersville, and I was extremely impressed. Derek Jones was professional in every aspect. His communication was timely and consistent. He also helped so much in dealing with the insurance company. I hope Pendergraph Co. realizes what a superior employee he is! His desire was to make this a pleasant experience for me, and he did! Absolutely fantastic crew. Built a screened-in porch for us incredibly fast. They were quick to answer questions and made accommodations without hesitation. I would 100 percent recommend them.

"WE SHOW UP™" is a perfect slogan for Pendergraft Construction -- because they DO! Last week I asked Beau for advice about new flooring for a guestroom with damaged carpet -- and he was here the next DAY. I don't know much about flooring, but Beau knows -- a LOT. He's advising me on what's available and still look great, even on my limited budget.

Pendergraft Carpentry rose to Pendergraft Construction because Beau Pendergraft BUILT his business from the ground up, honing his skills while hiring the most reliable, hard-working staff available. Seems like he's got a top-notch crew for practically every specialty. (Including a flooring guy for my little room!)
Last year I learned* that in Alabama, you can't just call yourself a "Carpenter" or "Subcontractor", let alone a full-fledged "General Contractor". You have to be licensed and WORK for each title, pass licensing tests, and prove you're up to the requirements each license entails. You have to be a PROFESSIONAL. Beau has gone all about it the RIGHT way.
*(learned this the hard way, via an haphazard money-burner who wasted a lot of MY new wood, wouldn't listen or do as I asked, and thought having lots of tools and a truck made him a "Carpenter". AND called me "Little Lady"!)
